Job Purpose: In accordance with CHA policies and procedures, federal and state regulations, professional standards of care, and APTA guidelines and code of ethics, the physical therapist evaluates and treats patients in the inpatient acute care setting. The PT completes all documentation and administrative duties appropriately, participates in performance improvement committees/projects, assists in the orientation of new staff/coop students. Essential job functions are focused on quality care, service excellence, safety, cultural competence, and performance improvement. Qualifications/Requirements: MA PT licensure and AHA BLS certification required; 1 year inpatient acute care or SNF experience preferred.
