Global is looking for a Deli Manager to oversee the deli/food service department, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Essential Job Function: Directing department personnel, meeting goals, and communicating with store management. Recruiting, onboarding, and coaching new team members. Scheduling team members. Engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintaining food safety guidelines, ordering products, and overseeing food preparation. Displaying and rotating deli items, managing inventory, and completing paperwork. Handling cash transactions, using equipment correctly, and maintaining cleanliness. Ensuring safety procedures are followed by all department personnel. Position Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 18 years old. 2 years experience in fresh foods, preferably in a management role. Flexibility to work varied shifts and locations. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Serv-Safe certification preferred. Desire to learn and a love of foods. Basic math skills, ability to use equipment, and good communication. Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods, and use necessary equipment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25lbs occasionally. Reach, bend, stand, and lift merchandise.
