Seeking Environmental and Technical Research Consultant candidates with relevant Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Clients such as DOEOP. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Functional Area - Energy Technical Consulting Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support as an Energy Technical Consulting (Environmental and Technical Research Consultant) in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as the Department of Energy (DOE | OP) Generally Located In CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Conduct technical and environmental assessments to inform market trends and regulatory strategies. Align with Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Functional Area initiatives as an Environmental and Technical Research Consultant that evaluates the environmental impacts of energy technologies and provides feasibility studies on emerging innovations. Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP). These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies. Environmental and Technical Research Consultant is responsible for key functions such as developing analyses, supporting initiatives, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on energy markets, economic impacts, and regulatory strategies. Qualifications Qualified candidates for Environmental and Technical Research Consultant must possess expertise in their respective field, with experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting. Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications Candidates for Environmental and Technical Research Consultant typically require a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Skills Required Analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication abilities, and subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains. Standard Skills Required: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management, outstanding time management and prioritization abilities to meet project milestones, adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities, ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail, excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills, strong communication skills, both oral and written. Competencies Required Competencies for Environmental and Technical Research Consultant include problem-solving ability, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of energy sector operations. Other Details The Environmental and Technical Research Consultant role may involve cross-functional collaboration and participation in high-level DOE strategy discussions. This role is estimated to be engaged as Full-time conducting environmental and technical research to support energy initiatives. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the individuals who will be actively completing work on this contract or reviewing documents related to our operations must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance (i.e. DOE Q).
