Zurich North America is currently hiring an Enterprise Risk Manager who will report to the Enterprise Risk Senior Manager. This position has a hybrid working arrangement out of our North America headquarters in Schaumburg. The Enterprise Risk Manager will manage the day-to-day traditional risk management responsibilities. This person will be the point of contact for Zurich’s broker managing the communications, local insurance policy renewals, and participating in the renewal strategy meetings. They will also be the point of contact for Zurich’s TPA monitoring claims activities, inquiries, and reporting. Responsibilities also include offering support on the Group insurance placements and managing the monopolistic state filings. In addition, this position will provide content for the Quarterly Risk Report, assist in the completion of the Own Risk Self-Assessment (ORSA) report, and produce assurance provider reporting to Key Risk Takers. The Enterprise Risk Manager will also provide support in various risk management activities, as required. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Risk Management area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Risk Management area OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Risk Management area AND 3 or more years of experience in Casualty claims handling and risk management. Experience working with and managing third party claims administration vendors regarding claim evaluations/settlements. Risk Management and/or insurance industry underwriting, actuarial, reinsurance and/or claim operations experience.
