\nPrimary Function/General Purpose of Position\n

\nThe Electrophysiology Technologist will perform specialized roles within the invasive cardiovascular procedure setting. They operate specific high technology equipment and utilizes products under the direction of a qualified physician to assist with multispecialty cardiovascular procedures performed.\n
\n
\nEssential Job Functions\n
\n
\nPerforms and supports image acquisition, image processing, physiologic and/or hemodynamic data acquisition, and simple electrophysiology (EP) or 3D mapping during invasive procedures; assists nurses with patient management.\n
\n
\nAssists physician operator and invasive team before, during and after invasive procedures.\n
\n
\nProvides appropriate care to patients consistent with level of training.\n
\n
\nPerforms activities to support the service and/or departmental operation.\n
\n
\nServes, manages, and supports internal and external customers.\n
\n
\nParticipates in performance improvement activities.\n
\n
\nMaintains the laboratory and/or operating room and equipment; manage supplies first in, first out (FIFO), and supports accurate billing for procedures performed.\n
\n
