Electronic Tech Maintenance III Locations: CV01 - NM - Cannon AFB Time Type: Full time Posted on: Posted 3 Days Ago Job Requisition ID: JR105693 Primary Function The Electronics Tech is responsible for testing and validation of all Electrical Assemblies, Sub-Assemblies, Wires Harnesses, Cable Assemblies, Ground Based Vehicle Modules, Full Vehicle Systems provided by manufacturing and or the project / Customer. He or she is responsible for ensuring that these assemblies meet the specifications called out on Drawings, Schematics, Statement of Work with respect to Opens, Shorts, Leakage Current, Grounding and Bonding and similar tests. Essential Duties Perform completion of Organizational-Level, Intermediate-Level and Depot-Level aircraft maintenance tasks, repairs, modifications, Time Compliance Technical Orders and One-Time Inspections on CV-22 aircraft. Inspect and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical and environmental components. Perform acceptance inspections of critical flight control components after return from rework or upon receipt from manufacturer as well as aircraft acceptance and transfer inspections. Perform Scheduled and unscheduled Maintenance actions as required. Perform diagnosis, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of faulty aircraft electrical, environmental and avionics equipment/components. Troubleshoot avionics instrumentation, navigation, environmental control systems, and electrical components and assemblies utilizing wiring schematics and diagrams. Perform complex system/sub-system troubleshooting. Ensure aircraft and equipment forms and Maintenance Information System documentation is complete, accurate and accomplished. Ensure strict compliance and adherence with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance. Ensure compliance with applicable government safety directives, standards, and industrial safety publications. Encourage a work environment of zero accidents and injuries including no lost time accidents. On-the-job training and documentation of training of active duty maintenance technicians as required. Travel to other CV-22 locations to perform maintenance repairs may be required. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. However, personnel with consistent and demonstrated skills in Leadership, Proactively getting involved in solving problems, communicating effectively within the Department and outside the Department will help the person with growth within the organization. Desired Knowledge, Skills&Abilities Prior experience with CV-22 Integrated Maintenance Concept (IMC) operations. Held the following qualifications on CV-22 or V-22 aircraft: Red X’s/ IPI’s, APU and Blade Fold Wing Stow. Experience with Tugs, Forklifts and Cranes. Proficient in soldering and crimping procedures. Experience with SIRFC System. Required Qualifications Extensive working knowledge using technical publications, bulletins, diagrams, ground support equipment and precision tools in accordance with the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM). Must have the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. J-18808-Ljbffr
