Experience in the design of commercial building electrical systems. Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings. Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, principles, concepts, and established procedures; ability to work closely and communicate with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors. Resolve issues and ensure work is completed according to specifications. Balance project management and engineering tasks. Estimate material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation. Conduct maintenance and testing on electrical systems. Electrical engineering (power, lighting, systems, and low voltage) for the commercial built environment. Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations and participation in project interviews. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. PE license. 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management for commercial building projects. Ability to write technical reports and documentation. Ability to perform all electrical engineering tasks associated with the projects from proposal, design and drafting, engineering calculations, cost estimates to client reviews. Knowledge of electrical equipment standards. Knowledge of power distribution systems, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently on project design tasks. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). U.S. Residency. J-18808-Ljbffr
