We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dispensing Audiologist or Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. This is a fast-paced retail office where you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients who need hearing amplification . You will work closely with patients to provide comprehensive audiological evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry - Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses - Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals - Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids or other assistive listening devices - Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing conservation, communication strategies, and the use of hearing aids - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Experience: - Experience Fitting Hearing Aids in a Retail Private Practice setting, preferred. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to the auditory system Skills: - Excellent patient assessment skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient service - Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment - Licensed Audiologist or HIS in the state of TX or ability to obtain.
