Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Director of Transplant Psychiatrist to lead our Behavioral Health team at North Shore University Hospital. We are recruiting a highly motivated Practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide inpatient psychiatric consultations and follow-up visits to medical/surgical inpatients. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients that have behavioral complications from medical illness, complications from medications, psychiatric disorders that are co-morbid with medical conditions, and medical complications of different psychiatric disorders.
