Director of Nursing (DON) Fairway View Neighborhoods seeks a Director of Nursing to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 51-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Each household has a RN Nurse Leader, Household Leader, and other caregivers to provide person-centered care. Our DON plans, coordinates, and manages the nursing department, while maintaining the integrity of the household model. Key Duties: Organizes, plans, and participates in the total nursing care of residents and ensures the accuracy of nursing care records. Develops, establishes and implements procedures for general nursing care and infection control techniques. Appropriate orientation programs are available for new hires and continuing education is available for nursing home personnel. Prepares nursing department for state and federal survey to ensure regulations are being met. Participates in facility/departmental strategic planning, decision making, and completes an annual capital and operating budgets for nursing departments. Maintains a high-level quality care that is consistent with OAHS/FWV and regulatory standards. Benefits and Pay: Full Time, 40 hours per week. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, on call as needed. Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Minimum 3 years experience in nursing administration or a comparable management position.
