The Director of Marketing&Merchandising will oversee all marketing, merchandising, and category management activities for a large convenience retailer. They must have a strong background in buying, store organization, rebate programs, and promotions to drive revenue and foot traffic. Experience in the convenience retail industry is required, as well as the ability to lead the marketing function for the client. Responsibilities include collaborating with the executive team to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, managing inventory, pricing, and P&L, and building and training a top-tier marketing and merchandising team.Key responsibilities for the role include establishing and implementing a cohesive marketing strategy in collaboration with the executive team, taking ownership of category management and merchandising functions, and effectively managing inventory, pricing, and P&L using relevant software. The Director will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing marketing and merchandising team. Experience in convenience retail is essential, as well as strong leadership skills to drive marketing initiatives and increase foot traffic in stores.The ideal candidate will have a background in convenience retail and a strong skillset in buying, store organization, rebate programs, and promotions. They must be comfortable leading the marketing function for the client and have experience in managing inventory, pricing, and P&L. The Director of Marketing&Merchandising will collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute a robust marketing strategy, as well as recruit, train, and develop a best-in-class marketing and merchandising team.
