Director, Global SW CoE - CT/AMI Apply Locations: Shenyang, Suzhou Time Type: Full time Posted on: Posted Yesterday Job Requisition ID: 537333 Job Description This role is responsible for ensuring the multi-site, multi-platform of CT/AMI deliver toward one business goal and enable first-time right quality and speed (T2M and T2Customers) with a clear roadmap and execution plan. This role will be the linking pin between Incisive console, iPatient console, Gantry SW, Couch SW, DMS SW, and CIRS SW platforms. This role will work closely with the Global software architect and Platform leaders to ensure Quality and Speed. Your role: Provide leadership and direction for the SW COE teams. Responsible for working with global product and software platform teams at different locations (Bangalore, Shenyang, Cleveland, and Haifa), Philips research, and external parties. Direct and enable SW Roadmap for new product introductions and sustaining engineering through group leaders to achieve customer-centric quality (i.e. reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, and performance), and schedule and cost targets. Implement and guide Lean practices, iterative development, and align trains. Lead and/or participate in the continuous improvement of engineering, software, and development processes, tools, and quality and development efficiency. Drive collaboration with product and cross-functional teams located at multiple sites regarding resource planning for people, processes, and products to meet identified business objectives. Create and maintain the technology and competency roadmap within the area of responsibility and drive development strategies that yield common platforms across the product portfolio and collaboratively with technologies across Healthcare business units. Assemble the necessary skill sets and competencies within the department to resolve complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of CT and Workflow. Responsible for financial performance of Global Software including expense control, staffing plans, budget preparation, and quarterly forecasts. Provide excellent people leadership by attracting, retaining, and motivating highly skilled people, ensuring development plans are in place for all, and ensuring effective diversity. Handle performance as well as non-performance and help develop the next generation of leaders for the organization. Nurture and manage relationships with customers, key markets, product portfolio teams, industry groups, government bodies, and suppliers, and be the face of Philips Healthcare. You're the right fit if: 18 years of extensive experience in the medical devices domain, with a strong background in managing the entire product lifecycle. Strong experience with system verification and integration. Knowledge of system engineering and architecture. Strong exposure to DevSecOps practices. Good stakeholder management skills. Exposure to design controls, QMS, and audits. Experience in R&D budget management. Experience in R&D SW group leadership and people leadership.
