Where you will work: This is a dynamic opportunity to represent our residential sales initiatives, in the Bradley, Illinois greater market, based in the field and out of our local branch. The outside sales representative will build relationships with residential customers within our serviceable footprint. A Day in the Life of the Direct Sales Representative: Effectively sells data, video and phone residential services to consumers living in single family homes and medium-sized properties. Cultivate individual sales through relationship building and maintaining a bi-weekly sales quota. Obtain new customers in a single family residential environment through professional, face-to-face interaction with residents, property owners, and other referral sources. Aggressively pursue any leads provided daily. Cultivates own sales through neighborhood canvassing and maintains bi-weekly sales quota. Utilizes cold calling techniques. Distributes marketing material and participates in scheduled fun sales events. Up-sells current and new customers. Understands customer needs and articulate solutions. Attends mandatory sales meetings. Advocates for customers and reports concerns promptly to management. Reports sales statistics accurately and promptly to management. Assists with training and mentoring for potential new hires. Stays up to date with what the competitive landscape effecting Astound Chicago. Other duties as assigned.
