DevOps Engineer with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Containerization Location: Arlington, VA. A hybrid telework/remote work environment. Must be able to come on-site as needed. Position Description: Design, build, and maintain our CI/CD pipelines using industry best practices. Implement and manage containerization strategies using OpenShift/Kubernetes. Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into the software development lifecycle. Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability. Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes. Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout all DevOps procedures. Promote and train DevOps principles to fellow teammates to assist in implementing DevOps principles throughout team processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years related technical experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Proven experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes in production environments. Strong understanding of containerization principles (Docker, Podman, etc.). Experience with configuring and managing CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.). Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, etc.). Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with leveraging benefits of security products within DevSecOps workflow. Experience with GitLab CI/CD Test Automation Pipeline&Reporting. Experience interfacing with clients, technical support personnel, and other technical professionals to ensure efficient and effective service. Possess an Active Top Secret security clearance. In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation to start and for continued employment. Preferred: Experience with SAFe Agile testing environments. Experience using GitLab runners, OpenShift BuildConfigs, and/or OpenShift configurations that aid in continuous integration and continuous deployment models. Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000.
