Job Description SUMMARY The Core Enterprise Data and Analytics purpose is to develop and maintain the data and analytics infrastructure that enables effective reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and work boards to other IS Portfolios, Operations, and our clients. As an Azure Data Administrator, you will perform administration of various Data Ecosystems including Warehouse, Data Factory, and Data Lake as part of a collection of systems in a large technology ecosystem. This role will oversee the entire Data Platform ensuring it is secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost-optimized. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, collaborative team player, and problem solver. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform upgrades, maintenance, and implement system modifications in our cloud platform. Develop and enforce policies and procedures for platform administration. Review and maintain documentation for users and administrators. Maintain and troubleshoot skills in the Azure Fabric platform to resolve issues. Review and evaluate tasks based on priority and set clear deadlines to instill a sense of urgency. Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. Support users during change control and system updates. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3 years of experience in managing Azure Cloud and/or AWS Cloud is a must. Experience with cloud data warehouse and analytics technologies, specifically Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, and SQL Server (SSIS and SSAS), Power BI is required. Knowledge or experience with data access control/security models. Experience in capacity planning, cloud cost analysis, and cloud resources optimization. Manage various Azure data pipelines, job schedules, and systems to ensure performance and uptime. Coordinate with application/migration team for data setup and customer reporting. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Good to have knowledge in the Logistics domain. Proficiency in Spark, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other code repository tools is a plus. Experience with Agile methodologies in a cloud, database, data warehousing, and BI space.
