Department : Operations Reports to: Dental Practice Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: Ideal Schedule Mondays and Thursdays Compensation Information: $55-65 per hour, eligible for overtime Benefits (varies by hours worked): PTO: 1.54 hours accrued for every 40 hours worked Sick Leave: 1 hour earned for every 30 hours worked maxing at 40 hours 8 unpaid Holidays 401(K) Company Overview Smart Arches Dental Implant Centers have been created by doctors to improve the lives of the patients who entrust us with their care. Position Summary Smart Arches is looking to hire an enthusiastic dental hygienist to join our dedicated dental team. Thanks to a steady demand for our services and a loyal and strong patient base, we are expanding our horizon even further. As a result, we are looking for excellent talents to grow with us. Our Registered Dental Hygienist role is for any qualified individual, including recent Hygiene school graduates Duties and Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to: Provide excellent patient care Take and develop dental x-rays Assess patients' oral health and report findings to dentists Document patient care and treatment plans Educate patients about oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Dental Hygiene license (Required) Local Anesthesia (Preferred, but not required) Knowledge and Skills/Expected Competencies Ability to clearly communicate medical information to professional practitioners and/or the general public.
