Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our clients healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans for diagnostic evaluation, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively in urgent care and emergency medicine settings. Duties Perform CT scans as per physician orders while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Maintain a sterile environment by applying aseptic techniques during procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations. Document patient information and scan results in compliance with medical record standards. Assist in the management of equipment maintenance and quality control checks. Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and best practices in nuclear medicine. Skills Proficient in performing CT scans with a strong understanding of anatomy knowledge. Familiarity with mammography procedures is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings is desirable. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
