Organization: Computed Tomography Job Summary: Performs all CT procedures in accordance with established department policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. Key Responsibilities: Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging. Applies a broad range of skills to ensure exam completion meets quality and compliance standards. Provides appropriate radiation protection to patient, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards. Assists in the orientation and training of new staff. Technical Capabilities: Patient Documentation (Novice): Demonstrates patient documentation in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Compliance (Novice): Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions in normal situations. Anatomy&Physiology Knowledge (Novice): Demonstrates anatomy and physiology knowledge in practical applications. Radiology (Novice): Demonstrates radiology services in practical applications.
