Job Description - Critical Care Technician (CNA), MICU/ Full-time (3298905) Sign on Bonus Available Critical Care Technician – Blake 7- Medical Intensive Care unit Why This Role Is Important? Blake 7 is seeking a Critical Care Technician (CCT) , with Day and Night shift availability, and to provide rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Only full-time applicants will be considered for this role at this time. Blake 7 is an eighteen bed Adult Medical Intensive Care Unit . This is a multidisciplinary unit with a variety of complex respiratory and medical patients. The unit cares for patients who may require treatments that include CVVH and ECMO. Notable diagnoses include sepsis, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, heme-oncology, cardiac, neurology, and infectious diseases. Under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), the CCT assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. Schedule Day (7a-7pm) and Night (7pm-7am) shifts Rotational holiday and weekend schedule What are we looking for? CCT assists patients with daily living needs, monitoring&reading vital signs, drawing blood, and obtaining EKGs. Minimum Requirements: Required: Must have recent experience, and/or training, in clinical patient care.
