Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Experience making unique style of Pizza with hand-stretched pizza dough. Prepares food, sauces, and garnishes for service, with extra attention given to specific requests. Ensure timely preparation of all food items for service. Effective communication with team members and supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of their station throughout preparation and service. Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality food output. When service is slow, assist in the kitchen to keep busy. Qualifications: Food preparation experience. Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection (NYC Food Handlers). Supervisory Responsibility: None Work Environment: Diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, with multi-project coordination, prioritizing, and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and changes. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds. Preferred Education and Experience: Prior experience as a cook required, minimum 1 year experience. Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
