Apply now to embark on a rewarding career with our team Job Description The Construction Site Manager provides leadership and manages the operational and financial aspects of construction projects and is the primary liaison with the client’s project management team. The Site Manager facilitates and ensures all work is safely delivered, constructed with required quality, and efficiently delivered. They ensure standardized work plans and methods are adhered to, safety and risk management policies are followed, and financial information is reviewed with the site team. The Site Manager provides coaching and leadership to all site supervisory personnel and ensures the company’s culture, values, and processes are upheld. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Safety: Ensure safe working conditions and adherence to safety procedures on the project, including monitoring and auditing site safety-related activities. Supervision: Set direction for the project team, provide support in hiring and coaching, and ensure adherence to company values and policies. Quality: Oversee that project construction activities conform to specifications and implement quality procedures. Operations: Coordinate project alignment meetings, ensure subcontractor meetings are conducted, and review project budgets and costs. Financial: Track and report all project quantities and costs, ensuring positive cash flow. Owner/Subcontractor Relations: Communicate and collaborate with the owner and subcontractors regarding project decisions and requirements. Site Walks: Inspect work sites for non-conformance items and ensure corrective actions are taken. Documentation: Review RFI logs and verify completion of related work. Public Relations: Support local hiring initiatives and attend public information meetings as needed. Interviews: Conduct interviews of potential employees as requested. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least seven years of supervisory experience in a related construction industry. Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle driving record. Effective communication skills to work with various stakeholders. Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills for scheduling and planning. Intermediate knowledge of construction drawings and terminology. Ability to follow safety rules and understand their intent. Must be willing to relocate to project sites as needed.
