College Management Trainee - Production Track Full-time Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) is a leading integrated retailer with almost 2,500 full-line and specialty retail stores in the United States and Canada. The Management Trainee, Home Improvement partners with the leadership team to complete a twelve-month training program focused on a defined track. This position is expected to learn all aspects of the Home Improvement business for the track hired into during the program. Requirements include the successful completion of all assessments, manager evaluations, and knowledge-based tests to progress to the next assignment. Candidates must display the leadership competencies required for each track upon completion of the program. Tracks will encompass various areas of the Home Improvement business, including Sales, Production, Call Center Operations, Business Analytics, or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Upon completion, the individual must demonstrate proficiency in all job assignments and be able to assume a salaried manager role at the end of the twelve-month term. Job Requirements: Graduated from college this year or will graduate by December 2016 AA or bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Project Management Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both orally and in writing) with associates, managers, consumers, and others to inspire the audience and gain support. Project management, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to self-manage assigned projects and work effectively under deadlines. Champions change and displays energy when introduced to new opportunities and processes. Ability to remain productive and composed under pressure or stress. Ability to lift and carry products as required within each track. Occasional lifting of sample cases that individually do not exceed 40 lbs. is required for those entering the sales track. Depending on the product, sample case weight can range from 5-40 lbs. Understands the importance and impact of initiatives and makes the right trade-offs when establishing priorities. Ability to represent the Company in a professional manner as described in the Code of Conduct and Sears' Ethical Business practices.
