Overview We are seeking highly-motivated students to join our Civil/Site Discipline in our Southlake, TX office during Summer 2025. Colliers Engineering&Design, an affiliate of Colliers, is a trusted provider of multi-discipline engineering, design and consulting services to public and private sector clients. We employ over 2,600 talented professionals who utilize the most advanced technologies to deliver customized solutions for our clients. Responsibilities Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects. Read and review project drawings and plans. Confer with engineers about preparing plans. Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software under the charge of Engineers. Observe project sites and evaluate contractors' work to detect problems with a design. Prepare reports and document project activities and data. Prepare analyses from collected data. Set up and help maintain project files and records. Participate in robust internship programming, including opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections. Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in Civil/Site Development, or a related program. Must have reliable transportation to the office. Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a high-paced environment. Strong computer literacy, including MS Office. Ability to read, write and understand English for job-related communications and instructions.
