The Arthur Smith Institute for Urology at Northwell Health is seeking a physician leader for the position of Chief, Urology at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY. Responsibilities and tasks of the role include: Working with the chair on all matters related to clinical operations Ensuring high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols Continuing to develop a culture of scholarship in quality improvement, health equity and outcomes Ensuring the productivity of physician faculty and support staff Maintaining and improving upon the excellence within the department Candidate Qualifications D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine Completion of residency and fellowship with Board Certification or eligibility Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York Outstanding communication and management skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staff Previous division, department, or program leadership experience The Smith Institute for Urology is part of Northwell Health's Arthur Smith Institute for Urology, which has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City, and Westchester, with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services.
