We are looking for a CDL Class A or B driver to work our delivery route. Home Daily Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to handle different types of trailers, including flatbed and refrigerated trailers. M-F occasional weekends depending on volume 7am-4:30pm Duties Operate and drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to route schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts when required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar truck driving role. Proficiency in operating flatbed trucks, refrigerated trailers, dry van, box truck and other types of commercial vehicles. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to ensure efficient travel. Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently. Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring cargo safety. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must have Moffett, Forklift experience. Ability and willingness to lift boxes weighing as much as 70 pounds. At least one year of driving experience Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.
