Business Development Manager Territory Location(s): Chicago, IL, Bradley, IL, to Crestwood, IL Opportunity to earn up to $85,000 - $100,000 a year (or more), with uncapped commissions We offer a $65,000 base salary with a commission plan that allows you the freedom to exceed quota You will be representing a superior internet package and company that cares about you and our customers. The Business Development Manager (BDM) is primarily responsible for: Negotiating Right of Entry Agreements and Bulk agreements with condominium associations, property managers, property owners and developers. Account Management of existing bulk portfolio and negotiation of renewal agreements with current bulk customers. A Day in the Life of the Business Development Manager: Negotiate new Right of Entry Agreements and new Bulk agreements with condominium associations, property managers, property owners and developers. Source leads for new build opportunities. Build relationships with real estate developers and property management firms. Manage projects throughout the negotiation cycle. Implement successful strategies to drive expansion of "on-net" commercial buildings. Evaluate and support business development opportunities. Develop market analysis and business case to support expansion opportunities. Work effectively with sales engineering/network deployment team. Attend various business and association functions within territory. Convey building lead information efficiently to support personnel. Complete all Access Agreement paperwork accurately. Provide exceptional customer service at all times. Manage CRM systems and process quality of data. Maintain updated sales funnel records. Project a professional business manner. What You Bring to the Table: Three to five years in an outside sales or customer service environment managing business accounts. Account Management experience is required. Sales experience in real-estate or telecommunications preferred. Exceptional business acumen. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent detail orientation and follow through skills. Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
