Description: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Planning, budgeting, supervising and delegating responsibilities for audit engagements. Supervising, training and evaluating staff. Performing analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify trends and fluctuations in business activities. Reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules, footnotes and disclosures for publicly and privately held companies. Researching FASB and AICPA accounting pronouncements to ensure proper client application and disclosure. Auditing and reviewing SEC filings, including 10-Qs and 10-Ks. Exposure to SOX 404 audit. The right candidate will have the following: 4-10 years recent CPA firm experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Desire to train and evaluate staff. Good “team player”.
