AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR - CONTINUING EDUCATION KENNEDY-KING COLLEGE Overview: Kennedy-King College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Continuing Education After School Program Instructors to facilitate engaging and educational activities for children ages 6 to 12. The program is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can explore their interests, develop new skills, and enjoy fun, interactive learning experiences. We are looking to hire 3 to 4 individuals to support this initiative. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and lead a variety of educational and recreational activities for program participants. Develop lesson plans that incorporate arts, crafts, science experiments, and other age-appropriate learning experiences. Supervise and engage with youth during activities to ensure a positive and inclusive environment. Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive and dynamic program schedule. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and behavior. Ensure adherence to all safety and program guidelines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred. Previous experience working with children in an educational, camp, or recreational setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to engage and motivate youth through creative and interactive activities. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Pay: $30 an hour Monday – Thursday Time: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. No program during holidays the campus is closed and during spring break.
