About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina. In this role, you will administer targeted radiation therapy to treat cancerous tumors as prescribed by radiologists and oncologists. You will position patients with precision, operate advanced radiation therapy equipment, and ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection protocols.
Radiation Therapists play a key role in delivering compassionate care, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. You will conduct treatment sessions independently in accordance with long-term treatment plans while maintaining accurate records and troubleshooting equipment issues as needed.
