The Team Leader, MRI serves as the operational anchor for our daily MRI services, ensuring a seamless workflow that prioritizes patient safety and regulatory compliance. This position is designed to bridge the gap between clinical execution and team leadership, requiring a professional who can both champion patient care and guide a diverse team of nurses and technologists.
In this role, you will oversee the coordination of patient flow and staff assignments, ensuring that every exam meets Methodist's rigorous standards. Beyond administrative oversight, you will remain deeply involved in direct patient care, performing assessments, monitoring patients, and administering contrast agents. You will act as a key collaborator with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
A core part of your mission is to cultivate a supportive environment where staff can thrive. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supporting the professional growth of your team, managing onboarding, and validating ongoing competencies. By championing our core values, you will help drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain the highest levels of safety and infection control within the department.
