The Senior Project Manager serves as a strategic partner within the Office of the Chief Nursing Executive, dedicated to fundamentally improving operating performance across service, cost, and quality. This role acts as an internal consulting group, providing rigorous analytical support and process facilitation to project teams. The position is designed to lead the development and rollout of a robust project management methodology while ensuring the department achieves its financial, quality, and service goals in alignment with the department's vision and values.
In this capacity, you will independently lead performance excellence initiatives, managing day-to-day project responsibilities while developing long-range strategic plans. You will define and secure the necessary resources to enable teams to perform optimally, overseeing the full lifecycle of analysis, redesign, planning, and implementation. The role requires active tracking of project progress and risks, summarizing findings for senior management, and providing consultative, coaching, or mentoring services to staff and executives.
You will join the Nursing Administration department, where the mission is to drive performance excellence through data-driven process improvement. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate with management to refine performance improvement methodologies, maintain department goals and policies, and manage operating and capital budgets. The role involves representing the department in community outreach efforts and ensuring that all processes and outcomes reflect the core values of the organization.
Candidates are encouraged to review the minimum qualifications, which include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least five years of experience in healthcare or healthcare consulting, with three years in a leadership or project management role.
