As a Sales Account Executive, you will be the connection between Lamar and the communities we serve. Your mission is to bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Sioux Falls, SD, and the surrounding areas. You will use professional sales techniques to develop long-term advertising relationships that grow not only Lamar's sales but also our relationships within the community.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the connection between marketing and sales and genuinely gets excited with each and every sale. You will meet and exceed sales objectives in your assigned territory, targeting businesses and visiting established clients as well as competitors' clients. A day in your life involves identifying potential growth areas, clustering accounts for efficiency, and presenting to clients regularly. You will actively participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows while maintaining organized records of client activity.
