Solutions by Sanford, in partnership with Medical Solutions, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team as a Traveler. As a traveling RN, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care across diverse acute care environments. This position is designed for professionals who thrive on adventure and flexibility, offering professional growth with each new assignment. You will work within a supportive framework that includes 24/7 recruiter support and comprehensive credentialing assistance, ensuring a smooth transition into every new facility.
Your journey will involve adapting quickly to new units, hospital systems, and workflows, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in every setting. You will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. A significant part of your role involves educating patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions to promote understanding and self-care.
You will maintain a positive, inclusive work environment by communicating respectfully, assisting teammates, and modeling organizational values. From participating in safe handoffs and shift reports to ensuring strict adherence to infection prevention and control standards, your contributions will directly support continuity and quality of care.
To begin your journey, you will coordinate with our recruiters and credentialing teams to complete the necessary onboarding, licensing, and compliance requirements for each travel assignment. This includes meeting facility, state, and federal regulations regarding documentation, safety, and patient privacy.
