The Restaurant Manager serves as the operational heartbeat of the dining room, reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director. This role is dedicated to managing the daily rhythm of the restaurant, ensuring that every guest leaves with a memorable experience while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.
You will supervise a team of 20 to 40 Front of House teammates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high morale. The position requires a hands-on leader who is willing to "roll up their sleeves" to support the team, whether that means stepping in to assist during peak hours or making tough decisions to optimize costs and staffing levels.
A typical day involves a dynamic blend of strategic oversight and active participation. You will lead pre-service meetings to cultivate relationships with VIPs, ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed for every meal period, and enforce strict service and cleanliness protocols. Beyond operations, you play a pivotal role in talent development by screening candidates, leading training programs for new hires, and administering reward initiatives to keep the team engaged and motivated.
