As a Bell Person, you will be the first face our guests see and the last they remember. You are responsible for the transportation of guests and assisting with daily guest service tasks to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience. Your role embodies the essence of true hospitality, where every smile, every detail, and every interaction matters.
You will serve as a vital link between our guests and the resort, handling luggage, transporting clients to and from the airport and area attractions, and managing room deliveries. Beyond logistics, you will be a knowledgeable guide, listening and responding to guest inquiries with a positive, clear voice. You will provide accurate information regarding outlet hours, hotel services, directions to local attractions, function rooms, and car rentals, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for.
At The Essex, we believe in investing in our team members' wellbeing and growth. We strive to provide a fulfilling work environment where every employee feels valued and empowered. Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support both personal and professional development, ranging from competitive compensation and healthcare options to opportunities for career advancement.
Full-time year-round employees are entitled to participate in a robust benefits suite after meeting eligibility requirements, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, and paid time off. All employees are eligible for our 401(k) plan with an employer match.
In addition to standard benefits, we offer exclusive property perks to enhance your life both on and off the clock. Enjoy on-property discounts at our restaurants, spa, and Essex Kitchen. Take advantage of memberships to The Edge Sports & Fitness, complimentary use of our fitness center and tennis courts, and movie tickets to Essex Cinemas. We also offer stays at the hotel for you, friends, and family, as well as stays at other New England Inns & Resorts through the NEIRA program. Employees also receive ski passes to Smuggler's Notch & Sugarbush/IKON and a complimentary annual stay at the Resort with breakfast included.
Success at The Essex knows no bounds. Dare to dream, dare to achieve, and let your career flourish in an environment where excellence is not just a goal, but a way of life.
