About the Role
In this position, you will be the cornerstone of patient care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing strategies. Your day will involve delivering comprehensive bedside care, from IV therapy and wound management to critical telemetry monitoring and medication administration. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in educating patients and families about diagnoses, discharge instructions, and self-care strategies, ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey.
Flexibility is key to this role. You will adapt to varying facility procedures and patient populations, often floating between units to meet dynamic healthcare needs. You will also have the opportunity to foster a collaborative environment by supporting the orientation of new staff and travelers, sharing unit practices to ensure seamless care transitions.
