This opportunity is within a large, integrated health system featuring a collaborative tertiary referral center. The practice environment includes a multispecialty ophthalmology team with retina, glaucoma, and neuro-ophthalmology specialists. As a faculty member (Assistant Professor, non-tenure track), you will lead a comprehensive cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery program. The position focuses on advanced procedures including DMEK, DSEK, DALK, PK, premium IOL cataract surgery, LASIK, and PRK. You will have a unique opportunity to build and grow a refractive surgery program within a practice that boasts a strong referral base and consistent surgical volume.
In addition to clinical duties, you will teach and mentor residents and medical students while actively participating in research and academic scholarship. The department provides dedicated support for publications and conference presentations.
