About the Role

We are hiring PRN Registered Nurses to provide essential home care services exclusively within our community. This role is designed for nurses who prefer a local practice without travel, as all clients are residents of Charlestown. The Home Care RN delivers nursing care according to established policies, developing and supervising the implementation of each resident's individualized service plan.

In this position, you will partner with residents, families, physicians, and authorized practitioners to assess needs and create comprehensive care strategies. You will observe resident conditions, communicate changes to the medical team, and oversee the care delivered by the Home Support team of LPNs, Aides, and companions. Additionally, you will participate in care conferences and play a key role in the orientation and training of agency nurses and aide staff.

Hiring Process

Successful candidates will complete community and department New Employee Orientation, including department-specific orientation shifts within 45 days of hire. Availability to train on weekdays during the orientation period is required. The role involves a commitment to work at least one weekday and one weekend day per month, as well as one winter and one summer holiday per year.
