About the Role

We are hiring PRN Registered Nurses to provide essential home care services exclusively within the Charlestown Retirement Community. This unique position eliminates the need for travel, as all clients are residents living within our gates. The Home Care RN delivers nursing care according to established policies, developing and supervising the implementation of each resident's individualized service plan.

In this role, you will partner with residents, families, physicians, and authorized practitioners to assess needs and create comprehensive care strategies. You will observe resident conditions, communicate changes to the medical team, and ensure that care plans are followed by the Home Support agency team of LPNs, Aides, and companions. Your impact extends to participating in care conferences and leading the orientation and training of new agency nurses and aide staff.

Hiring Process

Successful candidates will complete community and department New Employee Orientation, including department-specific orientation shifts within 45 days of hire. Availability to train on weekdays during the orientation period is required. The role involves a commitment to work at least one weekday and one weekend day per month, as well as one winter and one summer holiday per year.
