About the Role

We are hiring PRN Registered Nurses to provide essential home care services within our gated community. This unique position offers the distinct advantage of no travel, as all clients are residents of our community within our gates. The Home Care RN provides nursing care according to established policies and procedures, developing and supervising the implementation of each resident's individualized service plan.

In this role, you will partner and collaborate during initial evaluations to assess residents' needs, working in conjunction with the resident, family, and physicians to create comprehensive care plans. You will ensure these plans are followed by the Home Support agency team, deliver nursing care according to acceptable standards, and communicate any changes in a resident's condition to the physician and family. Additionally, you will participate in care conferences and assist in the orientation and training of other agency nurses and aide staff.

Hiring Process

Successful candidates will complete community and department New Employee Orientation, as well as department-specific orientation shifts within 45 days of hire. Availability to train on weekdays during the orientation period is required. The role also requires a commitment to work at least one weekday and one weekend day (consecutive Saturday and Sunday, minimum 4 hours per day) per month, as well as one winter and one summer holiday per year.
