About the Role

This role is designed for those energized by the thrill of closing a deal and looking for the freedom to control their own success. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be the face of TDS, stepping out into the field to meet homeowners face-to-face. You will introduce them to cutting-edge fiber internet, TV, and phone services that make life better, effectively shaping how people experience technology.

You will act as a local expert, knocking on doors to spark conversations and helping families upgrade to faster, more reliable internet. Beyond the sales floor, you will partner with our Marketing team to attend community events, educating neighbors about the benefits of TDS and creating a buzz in your territory. This is a unique opportunity to turn ambition into action while managing your own 40-hour workweek with significant flexibility.

Day in the Life

A typical day involves connecting with your community by visiting 60+ doors and engaging with 15–20 people. You will identify customer needs, provide relevant information, and sell TDS services to prospective customers to achieve your sales targets. Your day also includes managing customer relationships from the initial sale through installation, conducting follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction, and completing necessary sales documentation. Approximately 20–25% of your time will be spent on administrative work from the comfort of home, allowing you to balance field work with office tasks.
