As a Standard Wheel Loader / Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily production and material handling operations. This role is critical to maintaining efficient workflows while ensuring strict compliance with company safety standards, DOT regulations, and OSHA requirements. You will operate wheel loaders and other heavy equipment in production, construction, landfill, quarry, or industrial environments, supporting the core mission of diverting waste from landfills and creating valuable resources.
Your day will involve loading and unloading trucks, trailers, hoppers, and stockpiles with precision, transporting materials such as dirt, aggregate, compost, and mulch throughout the facility. Beyond operation, you will play a key role in site preparation, grading, and stockpile management. You will work closely with supervisors, dispatch, and production teams to ensure steady operations, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Previous experience operating wheel loaders, front-end loaders, or heavy equipment. Experience in construction, quarry, landfill, aggregate, mining, recycling, or industrial environments. Basic mechanical knowledge. Valid driver's license with CDL (preferred but not required depending on location).
