Denali is the leading organic recycling company on a mission to unlock the power of unused food and organics, transforming them into resources to feed, fuel, and replenish the earth. Our work is essential to keeping water clean, reducing the need for new landfill capacity, building soil fertility, helping farmers be more resilient, and reducing society's reliance on fossil fuels. Denali provides meaningful and measurable change for any business that handles food, creating value with scalable solutions across the nation. Our services and products touch thousands of acres and businesses, millions of tons of organic material, and nearly every person who purchases and consumes food in the U.S.
As the Regional Environmental Director for the Southeast, you will serve as the primary environmental and regulatory authority for our industrial and municipal land application programs across North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia. This senior leadership role is designed for a mature, self-motivated leader who thrives in a highly independent environment. You will direct and oversee all environmental compliance, permitting, agronomic management, and land application activities, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable practices.
In this position, you will act as the bridge between complex regulatory requirements and on-the-ground operations. You will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, sales, and external stakeholders—including farmers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies—to support company growth and compliance. Your day-to-day involves fostering a culture of safety and accountability while managing a geographically dispersed team. You will be the face of Denali at industry conferences and regulatory forums, representing our commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.
At Denali, the work we do begins and ends with you. We strive to ELEVATE our employees to be their best, both at work and at home. Our culture is built on a commitment to helping you thrive in all aspects of life:
It is the policy of Denali to provide equal employment opportunities for all employees. We will not engage in any form of employment discrimination based on race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, veteran or military status, genetic information, or any other legally protected status. We affirm our desire to maintain a work environment free from all forms of unlawful employment discrimination.
If you are ready to lead a mission-driven team and make a tangible impact on the environment, we invite you to apply. Join us in transforming organic materials into resources that feed, fuel, and replenish the earth.
