Denali is the leading organic recycling company on a mission to unlock the power of unused food and organics, transforming them into resources to feed, fuel, and replenish the earth. Our work is essential to keeping water clean, reducing the need for new landfill capacity, building soil fertility, helping farmers be more resilient, and reducing society's reliance on fossil fuels. We provide meaningful and measurable change for any business that handles food, creating value with scalable solutions across the nation. Our services touch thousands of acres, millions of tons of organic material, and nearly every person who purchases and consumes food in the U.S.
As the Regional Environmental Director for the Southeast, you will serve as the primary environmental and regulatory authority for our industrial and municipal biosolids and residuals programs. This senior leadership role is designed for a mature, self-motivated leader who thrives in a highly independent environment. You will direct and oversee all environmental compliance, permitting, agronomic management, and land application activities across the Southeast region, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable practices.
In this position, you will act as the bridge between complex regulatory requirements and on-the-ground operations. You will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, sales, and external stakeholders—including farmers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies—to support company growth and compliance. Your day-to-day involves fostering a culture of safety and accountability while managing a geographically dispersed team. You will be instrumental in developing strategic relationships that expand our land base and drive long-term sustainability initiatives.
At Denali, the work we do begins and ends with you. We strive to ELEVATE our employees to be their best, both at work and at home. Our benefits are part of a broader commitment to helping you thrive in all aspects of life:
Our comprehensive benefits package includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a generous 401(k) match, company-paid disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 9 paid holidays.
