About the Role

As the Nurse Practitioner for Employee Health and Well-Being, you will serve as a vital link between clinical care and community wellness. Reporting under the general supervision of the National Medical Director and in association with the Community Medical Director, your mission is to provide high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective acute care and health management specifically for Erickson employees.

In this role, you will be the face of our onsite medical center, managing everything from new hire assessments and immunizations to complex injury management and community outbreak response. You will act as a key member of the interdisciplinary team, collaborating with community leaders and clinical personnel to foster a cohesive center of excellence for employee health. Your day-to-day involves not only clinical care but also driving health literacy through wellness education, chronic disease management, and lifestyle counseling. You will champion initiatives that improve vaccination rates, manage data for regulatory compliance, and ensure that every employee, regardless of their background or insurance status, receives non-judgmental, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleConduct new hire assessments, work-related vaccines, TB testing, DOT physicals, and drug testing
  • check_circleProvide acute care for episodic illnesses including infections, musculoskeletal complaints, and allergies
  • check_circleLead infectious disease outbreak management including employee isolation, quarantine, and testing
  • check_circleCoordinate mass asymptomatic employee testing and manage results and data entry
  • check_circleConduct preventive exams and screening test referrals for cancer and other preventable conditions
  • check_circleDeliver lifestyle counseling on smoking cessation, weight management, and disease prevention
  • check_circleManage chronic diseases and provide medication reviews to ensure cost-effective care
  • check_circleScreen for mental health conditions and refer employees to the Employee Assistance Program

Requirements

  • verifiedTraining and current certification as an NP is required

Nice to Have

Previous experience with electronic medical records. Knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, ADA, and OSHA. Knowledge of computer-based medical records management systems.
