Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct new hire assessments, work-related vaccines, TB testing, DOT physicals, and drug testing
- check_circleProvide acute care for episodic illnesses including infections, musculoskeletal complaints, and allergies
- check_circleProvide lifestyle counseling on smoking cessation, weight management, diet, and physical activity
- check_circleManage chronic diseases and conduct medication reviews to ensure cost-effective generic use and compliance
- check_circleScreen for mental health conditions and refer employees to the Employee Assistance Program as needed
- check_circleMaintain confidential electronic medical records with appropriate billing codes and oversight
- check_circleDevelop and deliver onsite health and wellness education sessions for employee groups
- check_circleMaintain departmental budget and ensure patient safety in clinical care performance
- check_circleLead infectious disease outbreak management including employee isolation, quarantine, and testing coordination
- check_circleManage worker's compensation injury care, case management, and OSHA log database maintenance
- check_circleOrder, interpret, and evaluate cost-effective diagnostic tests to assess clinical problems and health needs
- check_circlePerform onsite cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, BMI, and vision screenings for employees
Requirements
- verifiedTraining and current certification as an NP is required
- verifiedMinimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years of staff management
- verifiedCurrent licensure in the state where working is required
- verifiedCPR certified
- verifiedPhlebotomy skills
Nice to Have
Previous experience with electronic medical records. Knowledge of FMLA, Workers' Compensation, ADA, and OSHA. Knowledge of computer-based medical records management systems.
