Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a Spanish/English Bilingual Production Supervisor supporting our Arlington Heights location, in Arlington Heights IL. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of production workflows, a proven track record of team leadership, and a commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment. Primary Responsibilities: Daily Operations Monitoring: - Manage day-to-day production activities. - Review and assist with the development of the production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and deadlines. - Continuously monitor equipment performance and request maintenance and repairs as needed. - Manage daily and job specific documentation and materials, ensuring to communicate if material stock is running low. - Oversee quality control of each job and provide final sign off. Team Leadership: - Lead, mentor, and provide direction to a team of production workers and team leaders, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. - Monitor and track progress of new hire training and cross training efforts amongst team members - Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages teamwork, open communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Continuous Improvement: - Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase productivity and reduce waste. - Identify and implement best practices to optimize production efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance product quality - Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and high-quality production processes. Inter Department Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Customer Service and Maintenance, to ensure seamless production processes and resolve any issues that may arise. Safety and Compliance: - Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures. - Review regular safety topics with team members and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. - Assist with investigating any reported accidents or safety incidents. Perform all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements - Associates degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) - Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment preferred. - Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations required. - Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards. - Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to changing production demands Capabilities: Communicates effectively: - Shares information with the team.
