Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Operate CT equipment with precision, ensuring high-quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care. Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and best practices in the field. Assist in training new staff members or students as needed. Qualifications Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a focus on Computed Tomography (CT). Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and nuclear medicine is preferred. Experience in mammography, PET scans, sonography, or working in an ER or Level I Trauma Center is a plus. Familiarity with urgent care settings and various medical imaging modalities is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
