Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and diagnostics. This role requires proficiency in operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to aseptic techniques. The CT Technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Duties Perform CT scans and diagnostic evaluations on patients as per physician orders. Ensure the proper operation of CT equipment and maintain quality control standards. Collaborate with the medical team to assess patient needs and provide appropriate imaging services. Utilize emergency medicine protocols when necessary, particularly in the ER setting. Follow aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and prevent infection during procedures. Assist in the preparation of patients for scans, explaining procedures clearly to alleviate anxiety. Document all imaging procedures accurately in accordance with hospital policies. Stay current with advancements in technology and best practices related to CT imaging. Qualifications Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a focus on CT imaging. MA Radiographer License Required before start. Can apply for license upon offer. Experience working in an acute care setting. IV Experience Preferred. Ideal candidate would be comfortable doing X-Ray as well as CT.
