Assists OR Service Leader to ensure unit compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and JCAHO standards. Assists the OR Service Leader in analyzing data, ensuring team adherence to performance standards, and improving processes continuously. Provides mentoring to the OR team. Works collaboratively and has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines. Uses and demonstrates clinical expertise in the assessment of staff learning needs, capabilities, and readiness. Demonstrates superior knowledge of aseptic and surgical techniques in the role of surgical technologist. Position Requirements: 3 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist One of the following Certified Surgical Technologist required upon Start; (CST) via NBSTSA -or- Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C) via NCCT Licensed Surgical Technologist via Commonwealth of Virginia required upon Start Basic Life Support via American Heart Association required upon Start.
